From 1 April, there will be a new payment method in the GotCourts app: GC Wallet. This is a default payment method that is automatically activated for every club. The reason for this upgrade is potential monetary rewards from GotCourts League partners in the form of a digital credit for GotCourts users.
It is important to mention that such digital credit does not affect all users, but only those users who benefit from marketing campaigns run by GotCourts League Partners.
GotCourts users can use this payment method to pay for court bookings. When a user uses the GC Wallet to book a court, the club will receive the payment afterwards.
How do clubs receive these payments?
Clubs that accept cash payments on site and receive an invoice once a quarter:
Clubs that receive an invoice from GotCourts every quarter will continue to receive it. Bookings paid with the GC Wallet will be included in the quarterly statement. The value of these bookings will be deducted from the club's transaction fees due. The remaining transaction fees must still be paid by the club.
Clubs that do not accept cash payments and therefore do not receive an invoice:
Clubs that have not previously received an invoice with transaction fees from GotCourts because they do not accept cash on site or booking via credit will receive a transfer from GotCourts once a quarter.
